About us
A creative community
Formerly Ribble Valley Art Studios, Atelier Arts has been a home for working artists in Clitheroe since 2012. We’re a place to make, to learn, and to connect.
Our story
Artist Beverley Chapelhow has been working from her studio in the centre of Clitheroe since 2012. What started as a personal studio space has grown into a vibrant shared community — currently home to seven working artists.
Formerly called Ribble Valley Art Studios, we rebranded as Atelier Arts to reflect the European tradition of the atelier — a place where artists create, teach, and share their craft.
Today, Atelier Arts offers studio space for professional artists, an open gallery for visitors, and a rich programme of workshops and events for recreational artists and the wider community.
